Quandry exploded into the Portland music scene in October of 2004. Playing at ever-bigger
venues to an audience that is constantly growing, Quandry has already left a footprint in the
regional music scene. Their fan base has grown considerably throughout the Willamette valley and
is beginning to thrive in other key cities such as Seattle, Eugene and Bend. The band has proven
themselves enough to headline well respected larger venues such as the Roseland Theatre,
Aladdin Theatre, and Hawthorne Theatre.
Quandry has also established themselves with a solid online presence, hosting a busy website
(www.Quandryband.com), and their MYSPACE page that boasts over 15,000 fans/friends and over
150,000 plays to date(www.myspace.com/Quandry). They've already established a reputation of
professionalism and outstanding stage presence, earning them the opening spots for National acts
such as COLD and FIVE BOLT MAIN, as well as many northwest legends such as FLOATER.
Their latest album “Five Senses of Phantasm” shows just how much the band has grown. Their
sound is refreshingly unique, while staying on the cutting edge of rock, metal, and progressive.
Their arrangement is equally impressive, as the mighty 3 piece multi tasks an arsenal of additional
instruments, including keyboards, trumpet, and special percussion. Quandry entertains crowds
easily with their daring harmonies, heated vocals, and powerful, immaculate drum work. Their live
performances involve unique instrumentations, special effects lighting, and other stimulating
visuals created by the band themselves.
The true test is in the live show. Says Cheryl Ault of Crave Magazine: “They owned the
stage…terribly cool, totally controlled perfection.”
The band also specializes in providing customized Film/TV instrumentals in a range of diverse
styles and moods
